Cheongju, a clear refined rice wineChungha

Since its introduction to the market in 1986, Chungha with its uniquely mild flavor has become synonymous with a refined rice wine typically serviced chilled.
Made from rice refined three times after a process of gradual fermentation at a temperature of 12°- 15°C, it is devoid of residue flavors and smells.
Unpleasant bitter flavors and alcohol odors are removed using a cold filtering device.
Amino acids contained in the liquor add to the flavor of the dish.

1986

1994~2001

The alcohol content of Chungha was decreased to 14% to give a cleaner aftertaste with the blue wave

2004~2005

The blue label was introduced for better visibility between (13% ABV)

2008~2012

Chungha was packaged in Korea with water drop designs for a clearer and cooler visual effect (13% ABV)

2013~2019

The renewed package design highlighting coolness and cleanness was applied (13% ABV)
